Blue Star Equiculture invites you to participate in a weekend of music, history, horses, and prayer for peace, on Burgundy Brook Farm in Palmer,
MA. Blue Star is hosting this weekend honoring the horse and Mother Earth as part of the 15th annual World Peace and Prayer Day.
This year, Blue Star Equiculture is honoring the Horse as a part of World Peace and Prayer Day. The Horse Nation has walked beside humans for millennia, and, although at times an instrument of war, the Horse is a being of Peace. The Horse has helped us work in harmony with the earth in agriculture and has helped build our civilizations. The Horse teaches us cooperation, compassion, patience, and humility. Love for the horse unites people across all cultures and across all places. Yet today, the Horse suffers from slaughter, abuse, neglect or just
plain forgetfulness. It is time to reconnect with the Horse Nation and in doing so, reconnect with all species and with the Earth.
Blue Star Equiculture looks forward to joining our prayers with all who share in this vision of returning to a right relationship with the Earth and all her inhabitants. Please join us, with Arvol Chief Looking Horse, in prayers for peace with the world, whether those prayers take the form of ceremony at sacred sites, of music, of historical reenactment, or of communion with our horse friends. Join us for World Peace and Prayer day to honor, heal and restore the Web of Life we all share.
