On Sunday, March 21, Blue Star Equiculture participated in the Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Parade with the South Hadley High School Tiger Marching Band. Mark and Iceman were true gentlemen throughout the hours of waiting to step off, and throughout the parade itself!
Holyoke, Massachusetts, is home to the second largest annual St. Patrick's Day parade in the United States (after New York City's). The parade attracts anywhere from 250,000 to 400,000 spectators, and features up to 40,000 participants. That makes it all the more impressive that of 11 photos of the parade were posted on masslive.com, Blue Star Equiculture (with Iceman, Mark and Pam) was featured in one of them!
Thanks to the South Hadley High School Tiger Marching Band for inviting us to be their literal bandwagon, and thanks to all the volunteers who helped get the boys ready, made signs, marched and took the photos below.
