Our Services

Blue Star Equiculture is pleased to offer a variety of services to the general public. These services allow us to share our beautiful land and amazing horses. Proceeds* from these services support the mission of Blue Star Equiculture.

Consider having your next event hosted by Blue Star Equiculture on Burgundy Brook Farm, located on Rt. 181 in Palmer, Massachusetts. We are conveniently located just minutes from Belchertown, Palmer and the Massachusetts Turnpike.

Our 150 acres offer many different options to make your event be both exciting and memorable. Blue Star Equiculture offers event hosting for a wide variety of gatherings, including:

Wagon rides

Wagon and Carriage Rides

Blue Star Equiculture can also provide your event or party with horse-drawn carriage rides, wagon rides, hay rides and sleigh rides (weather permitting). Your guests will enjoy rides around our extensive property, or rides can be arranged for an off-site location. We can deliver the bride and groom to the wedding, or your guests to your door. We can provide entertainment for your guests during the event by offering continuous short rides around the property. Or, we can star in your parade! We have the ability to trailer our horses and our vehicles anywhere you want a ride!

Sleigh Rides

Sleigh Rides

Throughout the winter we will offer sleigh rides around the Blue Star Equiculture farm. If there is snow in the field we will schedule sleigh rides. Check to the right for the days we plan to offer sleigh rides.

Historic Tours

Horse-Drawn Historical Tours

Perhaps you or your guests would enjoy an entertaining and informative history tour? Our experienced guides can give tours of our hometown of Palmer, Massachusetts, or any other site, given adequate preparation time. We also can provide knowledgeable reenactors.

Blue Star Equiculture works closely with the Belchertown and Palmer Historical Societies and is a member of the Pioneer Valley History Network.

Blue Star Equiculture is happy to provide horse-drawn transportation for a variety of events, from weddings to birthday parties to parades.

Our beautiful home, Burgundy Brook Farm, is available for corporate parties and picnics, club shows and meetings, trade shows, weddings, community events, festivals and more!

Standing By The River

Facilities Rental

Burgundy Brook Farm has several amazing places within our 150 acres to have your event. In addition to providing the all the space you need, we can also arrange catering, equipment rental (tents, portapotties, tables and chairs), photography service, advertising and more.

Our farm features a variety of spaces suitable to almost any size group, from our farm fields to our peaceful, sacred permaculture garden. We are also happy to offer our farm as a backdrop for photo shoots.
