Posthumous Giving

Many of our supporters have provided for the horses after they have passed. They have either provided for a portion of their estate be given to the horses or they have asked that those who plan to give to their memorial, give instead to the horses by sending a check to Blue Star Equiculture in their name. Either way we at Blue Star Equiculture are eternally grateful for their support of the horses. Please have checks mailed to:

Roy Wheelock of Florence MA
Born in Huntington, Vt., Sept. 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Leon and Ethel (Hull) Wheelock. He went to Vermont and Massachusetts schools. Roy served in the United States Army in Vietnam and Korea, receiving numerous medals, including the Bronze Star. After 20 years in the military he came back to the area and was a long haul truck driver. He was a member of the Florence VFW, the DAV, American Legion, Moose Lodge and the Hampshire County Riding Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Roy's name can be made to the American Cancer Society, Medular Carcinoma of the Thyroid Research, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, or to the Blue Star Equiculture, Inc., P.O. Box 7, Bondsville, MA 01009.
