Sally is no longer with us in the physical realm but she is undoubtedly with us in spirit! This past Saturday Sally and I sat together and talked about the upcoming events for this year and into the next year. We also talked about the very serious financial status that BSE is in. We both agreed that we would think of new ways to encourage people to become herd members, some were outrageous and some were very funny, all we knew was that we had to something to get across the power and importance of consistent small monthly contributions.
We talked about our appearance in the Spencer Fair next Labor Day and the opportunity to be the featured hitch with our own tent and display! She was so proud of the young people that have learned from her and extremely proud of all the horses that have been trained with her guidance and all their new talent and confidence.
BSE is at an important crossroads which only can defined by the amount of support it gets. I know that if you are a fan and not a herd member Sally would want you to become one. She worked hard everyday thinking of ways to get people involved as members for the sake of the herd that we care for. Please consider making a donation in Sally's name
and more importantly if possible become a herd member!
Our time here at BSE will be defined as before Sally left and after Sally is gone. We have the choice to make our organization stronger right now. For all the years that have already been put into it...for all the horses that have been helped by it...for all the humans whose lives have been changed by it, we are asking you now to support the work that Sally loved the very most in all the world! She is watching and I know it will bring her immeasurable joy to know that all of her hard work and love and will live on into the future for all horses, humans and mother earth! More about Sally
