David Milos's Bio

Spiritually evolving, diehard entrepreneur, super work ethic and a lover of horses especially draft horse.

I have a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts. I have started and grown several unique businesses. Three years after I graduated I started one of the first deep discount TV product direct marketing company. I sold consumer products on TV direct to the consumer via the 1-800 number. You know the TV Ads, "If you order now we will throw in an additional product, and if you order with your credit card we will ship you 2 of these great products, and if you order in the next 10 minutes we will only charge you shipping for 1 product". I marketed several successful products via these TV ads. I then started a deep discount greeting card distribution company. I sold greeting cards to dollar stores, discount stores, convenience stores and grocery stores. The stores would retail the greeting cards for 2/$1.00. I built the first distributorships as prototypes for a small business that could sell, distribute and service greeting cards out of a 2 car garage. The first 2 prototypes sold a million cards per year. I systemized it and developed marketing plans so that I could sell local territory across the country as franchises. In 1995 as the Internet was first coming on to the scene I started a web-based greeting card website. That business idea was 10 years ahead of it self so I evolved it into the first web development consulting firm in Western Mass. I built the first websites for many of the largest businesses in Western Massachusetts. I also started the first localized business to consumer social network website called Virtual-Valley. As the chef visionary for the consulting firm I designed and had developed the first web-based content management application called Website Control. I was in the middle of selling Website Control to a CT firm for $10 million when the Dot Com Bubble burst. That unfortunately forced me to declare bankruptcy.

These endeavors and my education provide me with tremendous experience and skills that I now provide to Blue Star Equiculture.

Pamela, co-founder of Blue Star Equiculture, introduced me to horses a few years ago. She taught me about the different ways they think, how much love they have to share, how to have healthy working relationships with them. She taught me the ways of natural horsemanship and how important horses were to our History and how much they still have to contribute . I am a true lover of horses and have come to Blue Star Equiculture to work for them. I am contributing my work to provide them with the best life and care possible.

I work daily with the crew at Blue Star Equiculture to raise funds, develop business systems and marketing plans. I work to help grow the organization so we can take care of as many horses that need to be rescued.
