BSE Giving Survey

BSE seeks to build a diverse and inclusive volunteer staff with a variety of skill sets and experiences. BSE recruits direct horse care (Join the Herd members) at all times to meet the ever changing needs of our resident draft and working horses. BSE recruits for Board and administration support people as need requires.

During our recruitment process, BSE uses a multi-step process to determine which potential candidates would best fit within BSE’s direct horse care, permaculture and other operational areas.

The process includes an initial phone or personal interview with BSE staff members and may include an in-person meeting with senior BSE staff and/or Board members. Some applicants also meet with direct horse care staff during the interview process.

The process is designed to give you an opportunity to learn more about BSE and determine if BSE is the right match for you and you for BSE. Please refer to our direct horse care brochure or contact BSE for more information. BSE is always concerned with providing as safe an environment as we can given the nature of equine activities. Your safety and the safety of other members and staff is of paramount importance and your constant vigilance to our safety rules is absolutely necessary.

We look forward to receiving your application and speaking with you about your interest in BSE.
