Tony Valley grew up in Monson, MA, a small town outside of Springfield.
His passion for music began when the then 14-year-old high schoolstudent broke his leg on a BMX bike, prompting his parents to bribe him with a guitar; provided he ditch the bike.
It was an interest his family understood very well, according to Tony, “I started learning the vocal harmonies from my Dad’s eight tracks.” Along with those Eagles tapes, he also found inspiration from bands such as The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin. As for the BMX bike, he kept riding and although he took time out to attend college, studying both music and business, he quickly found himself performing live throughout the Northeast with the hard rock band Steadfast, and eventually ended up living in Los Angeles playing such landmarks as The Roxy and the Whiskey a-Go-Go.
Jubilee Gardens is the brainchild of singer-songwriter-guitarist Jubilee David Connolly who leads a superb band of players that include guitarist Dan Hunt, Ed Melikian on oud, cellist Mary Servatius, Paul Walker on saxophone & clarinet, percussionist Joe Zupan, violinist Rainer Reichel, keyboardist/recording engineer Paul Provost and Gail Hunt on bass and vocals.
On their latest album Natural Art, the group blends jam band, pop, folk, world, country, and (I can't help but hear) the band Chicago minus the horns in a seemlessly organic way (it must be the guitar work). Eclectic, dreamy and inventive, Jubilee Garden's music crosses genres and listener's boundaries with it's timeless sound and evocative subject matter. The instruments blend beautifully together creating a colorful tapestry of sound. Connolly's vocals are perfectly suited for the material while his guitar playing is equally compelling. This is truly an album of meticulously written and performed music by a band of accomplished players.

Formed in 2008, Josh Noone & the Federal Crime is an original acoustic rock trio from the 413. Singer/songwriter and guitarist Josh Noone is joined by bassist Jesse Mushenko and percussionist Dan Evans. Blending diverse backgrounds and tastes, the trio creates the kind of groove that's easy for anyone to fall into.
5:30PM Rhythmic Circus
The music is an influence in itself but if i had to name name i would say... Phish, Grateful Dead, Zepplin, floyd, Bob Marley, String Cheese, all metal bands, all acoustic rock bands and oh yeah, local music baby!!!!
The Beginning - Born 5 years ago in the basement of a carpet store the rhythmic circus has been an unorganized chaos of fun and rhythmic nonsense since its conception. An original blend of acoustic guitar, hand drums, beat boxing, and eclectic vocals. They are on a mission to show you what you've been missing.
The Transition -Well if life is a journey then its a rhythmic flow and you can't take it on the run you know you have to take slow. In as sincere a manner as can be the circus has... (read more)
